The Utah Valley Entrepreneurial Forum has announced winners of its 2005 “Top 25 Under Five” Awards, which spotlight outstanding Utah entrepreneurs from across the state. Award recipients were recognized at ceremonies held at the Provo Marriott and sponsored by UTFC Financing Solutions.

This year’s award recipients are Agilix Labs, Alianza, Allegiance Tech/Silent Whistle, AtTask, Best Vinyl, CleanFilms, Candle Warmers Etc., Cogito, Creative Woodworks, DirectPointe,  Liberty Pioneer Energy Source, Montigen Pharmaceuticals, Mountain Logistics, Rocky Mountain Community Directories,  Rustico, Seastone, Server Plus, Shade Clothing, ShopSite, Smile Reminder, Snapp Norris Group, True North Logic, Veevix, VitalSmarts, and  XanGo.

“Utah entrepreneurs are demonstrating the strength of our economy and the innovative strategic thinking found in Utah,” stated John Richards, chairman of the UVEF board. “These 2005 Top 25 Under Five Award winners represent the best of Utah’s vibrant, but growing small business community.”

UVEF’s Top 25 Under Five Awards have recognized the development of more than 100 entrepreneurs and their companies in the past five years, including Utah success stories like Altiris and Omniture. Competing companies are judged based on profit, growth, equity funding, job creation and job quality.
